eDocument Sciences sponsors Data Privacy, Governance & Business Ethics Summit

hacked Thursday (6/17/2010) should be an exciting day in Seattle, WA as eDocument Sciences CEO David Anastasi welcomes senior executives to the first Data Privacy, Governance and Business Ethics summit.  Cosponsored by IKON Office Solutions, Moss Adams, Davis Wright Tremaine, Wells Fargo, Seattle University, Law Office of Seaton M. Daly III, P.L.L.C., Onehub and Fasoo, this event is proving to be quite the draw.  The summit brings together senior executives and industry notables, such as WA State Attorney General Rob McKenna and Assistant United States Attorney Kathryn Warma, to discuss how people, process and technology affect data privacy, security and data governance.

These are hot topics among corporate officers, board members, investors, legal, financial, law enforcement and technology professionals.  Data privacy is a very important concern for organizations all over the world.  As more and more of our communications and information become electronic, protecting that information has become paramount.  A week doesn’t go by without the news filled with data breach stories that affect millions of people’s lives.  Understanding how to develop strategies and plans to mitigate these risks is at the forefront of the summit.

This event is bringing together people from many of Seattle’s top corporations, government and education organizations.  The types of organizations represented and the senior level executives attending the Summit will make this both informative and a great networking event.
